amazed

2 weekends ago, I had my shindig to celebrate my first year in the NYC. It was a great weekend and wonderful party. I want to thank my friends who made it in town and made it so special.

I also want to thank my new crew :)
New York has been an adventure and I have met so many wonderful people in this year who have made this feel like home. Also those dear friends who i was lucky enough to get to know better as they have shared their new york experiences with me.

this past weekend I celebrated my anniversary with dan. The whole weekend was so much fun and very special - we had a couple great dinners, various rocking music, 3 nights out in a row, and one really wonderful surprise (thank you!).

my last post alluded to my struggle to identify myself and my goals here in new york and to make sure I am not losing sight of things that are important to me... the past few weeks have really shown me, I am doing pretty well with those things.

having my outta townies around and showing them "my city" and getting to be around the people who know me best, gave me some perspective and focus that i hope to keep as i begin year 2.
